Ugo Crecco has over thirty-two years of combined increasing experience in Senior Management with a concentration in Mergers & Acquisitions, Contract Compliance Review, Financial Controls, Sarbanes & Oxley (SOX), SAP Design & Implementation, Financial Analysis, Accounts Receivable (including Billing), Expenditure Accounting, Capital Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Contract Accounting, Labour Relations, Forensic Accounting, Canadian Regulatory Reporting and Special Projects.

Furthermore, he has significant experience in Project Management gained from being responsible for major projects in the Railway Company, including large construction as well as major mergers & acquisitions projects.

Ugo has dreamed of owning a premium quality winery since he was a young boy growing up in Italy. In 2015, after a successful business career in the Corporate world, Ugo established Villa Romana Estate Winery, with the goal of producing premium quality estate grown wines. As a hands-on, fully engaged owner, he is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the winery from vineyard management, winery production and manufacturing processes, financial record keeping, accounting, all Corporation Tax Filings, wines sales and Tax Reporting. Ugo will also oversee all hiring and firing, vendors and contract management. Approves all capital expenditures, approves all expense reports. When he has spare time, Ugo loves to cook. Ugo is also a Master Fly Rod Craftsman and enjoys fly fishing.
