Our Riserva Romanello has been maturing for 12 months in new French oak. The wine is balanced by rich primary flavours of kirsch, blueberry and violet whilst luring the complex aromas of vanilla, forest floor, and mushroom. This wine is ready to drink now although could be cellared for up to 15 years.
Best served between 15°C and 18°C.
Ideally paired with heavy fatty steaks, braised lamb, and Canadian maple bacon cheddar cheese burger.
Dry, with a little more than medium body, mid range on tannins, and bright but not overpowering acidity. Cherry, blackberry, hibiscus and earthy minerality.
